The Jack Nicholson starrer 1975’s “One flew over the cuckoo’s nest” was the second Hollywood movie with 5 major Academy awards.
The movie is based on the 1962 novel with the same name by Ken Kesey. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is No. 33 on the American Film Institute’s 100 Years… 100 Movies list.
The movie is based on the mental institutions in the 1960’s and how the people were outcasted.
Well,Jack Nicholson who plays Randle McMurphy and all the boys will entertain you throughout the movie and Louise Fletcher who plays Nurse Ratched in the movie will make you hate her.
A movie with many funny scenes to make you laugh, some drama and overall full entertaining and one of the great movies ever made.
According to me this is the best movie of Jack Nicholson till date. The movie has completed 42 years from its release in 1975 though it is better than many movies made nowadays.
This movie is a must watch for all the movie lovers. So watch it if you haven’t yet.
Lots of Love.
